complete roughing stand under assembly

These days our ground assembly pit is hosting this complete roughing stand under assembly, part of a roughing group to be delivered soon to the hot rolling mill of one of our customers.
The housing-less type stand features a 350 kW at 600 rpm electric motor, gearbox with rolls diam. 750 mm. The vertical stand design foresees the supporting posts made of steel, allowing for complete pre-assembly with on-board piping and electrical cabling, in order to dramatically reduce the civil works at site, along with the installation and commissioning timing.
