With this plant NCO confirmed once again its full capabilities in terms of designing and manufacturing complete rolling mills for long products.
The solutions adopted with this plant allow for:
-flexibility in terms of quick and easy production changes, thanks to the sliding reversing 2-high roughing stand
-compact and cost-efficient plant, allowing also for great energy saving
-reliability along with decreased maintenance needs, thanks to the robust design and improved technological choices
The scope of supply included:
- General Engineering and Process engineering
- Walking beam type reheating furnace 60/80 t/h
- Hi-pressure water descaling system
- BDM consisting of a Two-High Shiftable Reversing stand, Housing-less type, equipped with entry and exit adjustable roller table, centering devices and bar manipulators
- Continuous train with four rolling stands, housing-less type, traversing, alternatively arranged in H and V configuration
- Layer transfer and preparation system
- Cut to length area with dry-type abrasive cut-off machine
- Cooling bed and automatic stacking, tying and storing area
- Hydraulic and lubrication systems
- Quick rolls changing devices and stand tilter
- Electrical and automation systems
- Supervision to erection and commissioning
- On-site training
